Feeding horses wet hay?

If square bales get damp/wet and then dry, is it ok to feed them to horses later? These bales got damp a couple times (never more than a few inches into them) but then I set them out in the sun to dry out. Any time they got wet, I made sure to dry them out afterwards (this happened 3-4 times) They look fine, smell fine, and the insides look normal. Are these bales still usable? Thank you.
