Small red dots on the head of the ...?

A few weeks back, my boyfriend and I had without a condom [I'm on the pill] for the first time. Afterwards, he said the area where the head of his and the foreskin meet were not really sore, but tingled, and he got small red dots on the head of his . They aren't raised and are barely noticeable, maybe the size of a pinpoint and they've been going away with time. I'm 99.9% sure that they weren't there before the first time we had without the condom, and I haven't been with anyone else so it's not something that I gave him. Is it possible that it was just a reaction to the chemicals and whatnot that I produce naturally? It only happened the first and second time, then stopped.
