12 year old Boxer Health Advice?

I have a 12 year old boxer with congestive heart failure. She has a very bad heart murmur and she won't eat some days, sometimes for two days. I went to the vet, she gave us a diarretic called lasix to drain her lungs of fluid. A cardiac exam is close to $700. Does anyone or any vets have any advice or suggestions?
