What does he want from me?!?!!?

So I was kinda hooking up with this guy, Andrew, for a while. He kept asking me out. I just wanted to be friends with benefits. Then I felt like I was falling for him and had him pick between friendship and dating me. He picked friendship.So we stopped talking for a like a week or two, then he started texting me, wanting to come over and help me with my chores and stuff. He was flirty and fine. Then out of no where he turns jerky and gets jealous whenever I mention another guy, stops texting me first, and gives one word answers to my texts. Yet he keeps wanting to come over and help me finish my chores (I live on a farm) and if I ask him for a favor he almost always says yes. Whats his deal? scooping horse manure really can't be that much fun?!?!
